TINA SIMMONS
DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Tina Simmons, a graduate of CSU, returned to Colorado in 2020 after practicing in Cheyenne, WY for 4 years as well as Anchorage, AK for 10 years. She was raised in northern Colorado on a small farm in South Fort Collins and worked throughout high school at a local dairy. Dr. Simmons has an abundance of diverse experience working in both companion and rescue/shelter medicine since 2003.
However, her experience has given her specific insights and skills within the areas of chronic pain management, complementary medicine (including acupuncture), dentistry and internal medicine. She prefers an integrative approach keeping quality of life at the forefront.
When she is not working, Dr. Simmons is an avid gardener and enjoys fishing. However, she is always thinking about how to make her rescue chihuahuas happier because this is the purpose of life.
